Experience
A wealth of knowledge and experience has been built up in business
process flows encompassing Environmental, H&S, Quality and IT
Management. Previously working as Business Systems Manager, the
role entailed the completion of an Integrated Management System
in under a year. This included ISO14001:2004 (Apr 2005), OHSAS 18001
(Jan 2006) & ISO9001 (Apr 2006). This was achieved by and resulted

The organization winning significant contracts
worth over £750k per annum with in the first year.
Reduced costs by the investigation of all business
aspects and impacts on the environment. This involved the continuous
review of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of objectives
and targets including: Implementation of a utility management
program with key emphasis on electricity, water and recycling.
Employee education and working towards 0% landfill and becoming
a “carbon neutral” company.
Advising the board on relevant environmental,
quality, and health & safety issues.
Assisting and advising on tender applications.
Raising employee’s awareness and responsibilities
through training courses and guidance. Created in-house roles
including Environmental H&S and Quality Management Representatives,
Fire Marshalls and First Aiders.
Created and formatted an Integrated Company Manual
and revised the Company handbook.
Enhanced communications structure to help coordinate
depts. Production of a quarterly in-house newsletters and maintenance
of intranet site.
Raised public awareness through media strategy
and explored business award opportunities.
As IT Manager I:
Managed a budget of £150k and advised board
on future IT developments.
Managed and implemented all aspects relating to
IT with support of 80 users across 4 sites on Win2000/citrix platform.
